We have an immediate opportunity for a Site Manager - Automotive

As the Site Manager you will lead all day-to-day facility activities which primarily consists of manufacturing operation of custom extruded plastic bumpers for a Tier 1 supplier. You will apply your leadership, manufacturing, and data analysis skills to lead cultural alignment, continuous improvement, growth, and profitability.


  • Lead all day-to-day site activities which primarily consists of light manufacturing operations.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and team building.
  • Collaborate with corporate level Operations, Supply Chain, Business Development, and Finance to develop and execute manufacturing strategies.
  • Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives down through the organization with clearly defined, actionable, and measurable plans.
  • Lead and design Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization to accomplish business objectives.
  • Establish, improve, sustain, and report KPI performance; leverage data to prioritize actions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Operate within a budget and contribute to the overall optimization of profitability.
  • Make recommendations on key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.

Job Requirements


  • Exceptional in directing, delegating, mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communications covering the range from the employees on the floor to executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects while meeting objectives, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Strong lean manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret general arrangement and detailed manufacturing drawings.


  • Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering or Business required; advanced degree and professional manufacturing experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive personal growth in the automotive manufacturing industry of which at least 5 years have been in a leadership role.
  • Skilled in computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word,
