 Imagine One is now hiring a Training Specialist 4 to support an awarded contract with Naval Information Warfare Centers Atlantic (formerly Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic)), N. Charleston, South Carolina.  We are hiring professionals who will be a part of a service center for the Collaborative Engineering Tools Services (CETS) production environment with a goal of implementing an engineering tools service to help embed System Engineering (SE) rigor into projects.  This will be accomplished through a scalable platform infrastructure while supporting all aspects of the software development/engineering lifecycle.

  Requirements are as follows:


Experience to include:

  • Ten (10) years of experience to include: establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process.

  • Ten (10) years technical training experience and Five plus (5+) years constructing, developing, and providing training experience in the IBM Jazz Tool Suite products:
    In Person, Classroom Training, Web Based Training, and Video Training.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in providing instructor led classroom training in (IBM Jazz Tool Suite) DOORS and DOORS Next Gen, Rational Quality Manager, Rational Team Concert and Rational Publishing Engine.

  • Training Specialist 4 experience to include:
    Skills and experience in developing training material, skills and experience in proving training associated with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, and skills and experience in providing training in a classroom environment.

  • Experience with developing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to address issues and concerns identified by the CETS user community 


  • Experience using TechSmith’s Camtasia and Adobe Captivate

Certification Requirements:

Must meet Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification criteria specified in DoD 8570-01M which includes:

  •  DoD 8570.

    01M Baseline Certificate for IAT Level II:
      Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+; or IAT Level III (i.e., CISSP (or Associate), CASP CE, CISA)

  • Any Operating System certification (i.e., Oracle; UNIX, Cisco, CCNA; CompTIA Linux+; Windows (i.e.

    , MCSE, MCITP [2008 Server Administrator], MCTS))


  • Bachelor’s Degree in English or Communications OR 10 years of relevant experience in technical training on software or engineering based platforms that will benefit the Government.

Security Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Candidate must have an active DoD Secret clearance.

C4ISR support include technical and engineering support such as:
analysis of technical initiatives and new concepts for further exploration; research and preparation of new technologies; technical analysis support and reports on C4ISR architecture tools used to assess and verify demonstrations, tests and exercises; system software analyses, design, installation, testing and independent evaluation and assessments, and software upgrades.

For the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) test and evaluation (T&E) Support Services delivery order, Imagine One supports several SSC-LANT Program Managers with specialized requirements engineering, analysis, and tracking services. Imagine One worked with the customer to strategically plan how proven USMC T&E processes could be automated using the IBM Rational suite of tools to meet or exceed the overall T&E program vision and mission, and customer expectations.
