Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with SPAWAR project managers, local Instructional System Designers, subject matter experts, and In-KSA Training Staff members. .
  • Revise existing curriculum for determining course effectiveness and documents system upgrade improvements.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, system specific job sheets, and testing materials, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  • May evaluate end-users to determine technological literacy, learning capacity, and teaching methodology.
  • May develop flowcharts and storyboards based on course materials.

  • Must be knowledgeable and capable of operating various computer-based training systems including distance learning and long range facilitated group discussions

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Five+ (5) years of experience with USN Communications equipment maintenance; three+ (3) years of this experience maintaining or operating C4I systems.
  • Five+ (5) years of demonstrated experience developing military or industrial curriculum.
  • Five+ (5) years of experience instructing.
  • Five+ (5) years of experience in military or industrial training positions that require the application of technical knowledge of the C4I field.
  • Demonstrated experience with USN training requirements and processes (e.g., NAVEDTRA 130 series and the Navy's Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) tool.
  • Demonstrated experience with training, classroom instruction, curriculum development, training evaluation, and assessment of classroom equipment requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Technical or a related field from an accredited college or university OR Certification as Navy Instructor (Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 9502).
